Do you do commissions?

I don’t often take commissions, but honestly, it really depends on what you would like. I’d be happy to talk about it and see if we can arrange something that works for you. I have to make commissions fit my production and travel schedule. Email me at studio@merrittrandall.com and let’s take a look at it.

Do you have any original paintings for sale right now?

When original paintings are available through me rather than my dealers or gallery, you still won’t see them on the “Shop” page. You have to contact me directly. (323) 691-5061 or studio@merrittrandall.com

I missed out on your last collection of originals, how do I find out about new collections before they all sell out?

The best way to hear about my upcoming work is to sign up to receive my newsletter and you will be included in the very first group of people to receive full details before any new art goes on sale online or is sent to a dealer or gallery. My subscribers always get first dibs.

What medium do you use?

I mostly work in oil but do some work in acrylic. I’m always studying and learning new techniques and experimenting with new materials. The medium I’ve used is always indicated in the description of the piece.

I've bought my painting, will it come ready to hang?

Original paintings up to 30 x 30" come stretched, wired and ready to hang. Larger pieces are shipped rolled in a tube and need to be brought to a framer for re-stretching. Please contact the studio re: original paintings for sale.

GICLEE PRINTS

What type of prints do you create?

Giclée prints are made with Archival Pigment, on Archival Paper.

Do you make prints of all your original paintings?

No, only certain paintings from each collection are reproduced as a print.

Do the prints come framed?

No, all prints are shipped rolled in a tube and need to be taken to your local framers. Paper prints should be framed behind glass - with or without a mount (I like a 4 or 5 inch mount).

Do you sign your prints?

Yes, all prints are hand-signed by Merritt Randall. Giclée prints are signed, titled and numbered on the front, in the white inch border.

I love this print, it’s rectangular in shape– can you make it square?

No, sorry, I don’t crop any of my prints. We can accommodate custom sizing as long as it doesn't compromise the image.

What is the surface texture of the prints?

All prints have a flat, matte finish.

Yes, we ship to every country in the world!

How much is shipping?

Shipping prices are calculated by size, weight and destination.

How do you ship your paintings/prints?

All paintings are packed very carefully in custom made double walled cardboard boxes with layers of bubble wrap. Extra large paintings are rolled and shipped in extra strong 3mm wall cardboard tubes. All our prints are rolled and shipped in extra strong 3mm wall cardboard tubes.

I have placed my order, when should I expect my artwork?

Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. If you want to place a “Rush” on your order, please call the studio.

RETURNS

What if my piece gets lost or damaged?

If your piece gets lost or damaged, we offer a replacement or full refund. Prints must be returned in its original packaging.

What if I change my mind?

If you are unhappy with your piece or just change your mind, we offer a full refund up to 14 days after receipt - customer pays return shipping.
